Mission

Columbus Recruiting Battalion is responsible for conducting recruiting operations in portions of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. 

Special and Critical Installation Information

Newcomers will receive a Welcome Letter from the Battalion Headquarters with contact information that can be used prior to arrival.

Most of the battalion is covered under TRICARE Prime Remote - TPR (Civilian Doctor or other medical provider (both are called) a Primary Care Manager - PCM) or TRICARE Prime (Assigned to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base). Family Dental care is available through United Concordia 844-653-4061 under TRICARE Dental Program. Soldiers under TRICARE Prime Remote (TPR) will use United Concordia Active-Duty Dental Program (ADDP) 866-984-2337.

The TRICARE contractor for TRICARE East is Humana-Military and covers all battalion personnel EXCEPT TRICARE PRIME Soldiers' family members (assigned to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base).
